February is National Children’s Dental Health Month!

National Children’s Dental Health Month, celebrated every February, is designed to bring together dental professionals, healthcare providers, and educators to promote/create awareness to the benefits of good oral health to children, their parents, teachers and others in the community. Our goal at Frisco Kid’s Dentistry is to assist parents in beginning good oral habits for their children at a very early age. Prevention is our top priority! To help spread the word about the importance of good dental health, Drs. Rubin and Sentelle have created interactive speaking programs for preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade children in Frisco, McKinney, Plano and Dallas areas. Since 2005, each February they invite the “Tooth Fairy” to join them in talking with children about dental health, dental development and nutrition. The presentation is interactive and entertaining while teaching the children about the importance of caring for their teeth for a lifetime. This year we had the opportunity to present to the children at the Sonshine School & Academy in Frisco.
